Haiku House and make recommendations on the next steps.
3. ARE THESE HOUSES PRE-FABRICATED IN JAPAN? NO and
NO. Haiku Houses are not pre-fabricated and are not made in Japan.
Typically, pre-fabricated houses are large sections of houses
constructed in factories and put together on the site. Haiku Houses are
individual pieces of wood PRE-CUT to specific lengths and CUSTOM-CRAFTED
to design specifications at our facilities in the various locations,
then bundled and shipped to your site. As a result, workers spend their
time in actual construction instead of measuring and sawing raw lumber
all day. This process alone saves an average buyer 40 percent in
construction time and labor. Note: All wood materials come from
managed forests in the United States. The Classic Japanese Roof Tiles
are imported from Japan.
4. HOW MUCH DOES A HAIKU HOUSE COST,
INCLUDING MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION? Rough estimate,
about $175 to $350 per square foot (not including land) depending on how
you finish it out and depending on the construction costs in your
area.

anywhere in the world. We have shipped to various areas such as the
Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

will sell a minimum package, which includes proprietary materials such
as the master frame (poles, girders, joists, etc.) along with
architectural and engineering services.
8. CAN THERE BE ANY
CUSTOMIZING TO THE MODELS? Yes. Most people find our standard
floor plans to their liking and will make only minor floor plan changes,
but we are open to major changes if desired.

HAIKU HOUSES THAT I CAN VISIT? Possibly, there are a few residences
that may be available for viewing by appointment with the owner that we

Haiku Houses frames can be installed in about one to two weeks.
11.
CAN I BUILD ANY SIZE HAIKU HOUSE I WANT? Yes, our models range in
